He told Bernama today that the infected individual, who was asymptomatic and fully vaccinated, was examined at the KLIA entry and required to wear a digital detector monitoring wristband while undergoing home quarantine in Seremban.

The second case concerned a 28-year-old woman who arrived through the KLIA gate on December 1 from the United Kingdom.

The case, who had received her COVID-19 vaccination, had a mild condition and was screened at the KLIA on December 14, he said, adding that the third victim, aged 29, tested positive at the KLIA on December 16 following her return from the United Kingdom.

He said that the third individual, who had received the COVID-19 vaccination, exhibited mild symptoms and was advised to remain in home quarantine in Port Dickson.

He assured the public that the issue was under control and recommended individuals who had not taken the booster dose to do so to enhance their body immunity.
