Malaysia’s Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has announced today new Covid-19 SOPs updated as of 27 April 2022.
The new SOPs have been announced ahead of next week’s Raya celebrations. The new SOPs will be applicable from now and also apply after Raya.

Test & release: Covid positive patients
Covid-positive individuals may now be released from quarantine upon testing negative on the 4th day of their infection.
If they test positive or choose not to do a test on the 4th day, they will continue to be isolated in quarantine until day 7.
Vaccination status to enter premises
People may enter premises regardless of vaccination status.
