For the second consecutive day, daily Covid-19 cases in the country increased, with a total of 3,997 new infections reported.

Malaysia reported 3,683 new Covid-19 cases yesterday after the country had recorded less than 3,000 Covid-19 cases for three days.

Tan Sri Noor Hisham Abdullah, director-general of health, said the new infections brought the national total to 2,754,513 since the pandemic began last year.

He said that further information would be made accessible after midnight through the ministry’s CovidNow portal.
