According to official statistics given by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia documented 36 more fatalities linked with Covid-19, including two brought-in-dead cases.
This brings the total number of fatalities to 31,428 since the pandemic began, including 6,320 brought-in-dead cases.
Yesterday, Selangor reported the highest fatalities with 12, including two brought-in-dead cases.

Kuala Lumpur has five fatalities, Kelantan and Perak each have four, Kedah, Negri Sembilan, and Pahang each have three, and Terengganu has two.
The overall mortality rate in the country remains at 1.1 percent, based on 2,742,924 cumulative Covid-19 cases to date.
The country recorded 3,444 new infections yesterday, breaking a three-day record of cases falling below the 3,000 mark.
There are now 41,682 active cases, with the majority, or 83.4 percent, or 34,781 individuals, quarantined at home.
Another 7.4%, or 3,065 individuals, are receiving treatment in quarantine centres, while 8.5%, or 3,548 people, are receiving treatment in hospitals.
Currently, 288 patients are being treated in intensive care units, and 162 require the aid of ventilators.
