So I would like to urge the people for the year end.. I know you have a lot of plans with friends and I am not saying to cancel (the plans). But, stay at home if you can.

But if you really need to spend time with your friends, stay safe and take your boosters (shot), perform a Covid-19 self-detection test using RTK-Antigen before visiting relatives, neighbours or friends.

If symptoms occur, seek treatment and stay home," he said.

Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the health director-general, also used Facebook to alert the public to get vaccinated and booster doses, self-isolate if symptomatic, and perform periodic self-testing with RTK-Antigen and to avoid crowded and cramped areas.

Please take all necessary precautions and social measures to prevent getting infected.

Stay strong and stay safe," he said.
