Keep Up With New Normals, Says PM Sabri
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is urging all members of the Malaysian Family to practice and keep up with the new normal at each stage of the journey.
He explained this in a statement on his official Facebook page tonight, stating that the COVID-19 pandemic is still present in the community.
“Many would want to return home to see their parents and families. On regional radio stations, the song Balik Kampung is being played to signify the happiness of the Malaysian Family to return to their home villages.”

In a special press conference on 10th October, the Prime Minister announced that the government has decided to permit people who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to travel between states without obtaining police permission beginning today, 11th October.

He said that the decision was taken after the country’s adult population achieved a 90 percent vaccination rate under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program (PICK).
