According to the Cambodian Ministry of Health, the country’s first case of the Omicron coronavirus variant was discovered through a local woman who had travelled from Ghana.
The 23-year-old lady had returned from Ghana via Dubai and Bangkok, according to a statement made by the ministry on Tuesday (Dec 14).
According to the report, the lady, who was 15 weeks pregnant, had been brought to the hospital for treatment.
