Choir performances in churches in conjunction with Christmas are permitted, provided that attendees maintain a clear physical distance of at least one metre and wear face masks or shields.
The National Unity Ministry said that this was part of the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the December 24 and 25 Christmas festivities.
Datuk Halimah Mohamad Sadique, Minister of National Unity, adopted the SOPs yesterday during the Quartet Ministers on Covid-19 Meeting.

According to the statement, prayer services are permissible under the National Recovery Plan’s standard operating procedures for the opening of non-Muslim places of worship.
Apart from that, only individuals who have received all vaccination doses are allowed to visit relatives throughout the Christmas season.
