In Malaysia, a total of 21,993,417 individuals, or 94 percent of the adult population, have had their Covid-19 vaccine.
As of Monday, 97.3 percent of the adult population, or 22,756,938 people, had received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to data from the Health Ministry’s CovidNow portal.
On Monday, 207,541 doses of the vaccine were administered to both adult and adolescent populations.
This increases the total number of doses given under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) since its inception on February 24 to 48,046,427.

On Monday, a total of 9,139 booster doses were administered to target groups, bringing the total number of doses given to 30,756.
Meanwhile, about 29.9 percent, or 940,960 people aged 12 to 17, have completed their vaccinations, while 78.9 percent, or 2,483,693 people, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
